There was a fence around the lighthouse which was covered with padlocks. Most of them had something written on them. We're guessing that it's some kind of "we were here" thing, but who knows? Interesting, anyway.

On top of being a wife and full-contact parent to three young children, I am an advocate for livable communities and alternative transportation. That means working for communities that work for every member of the community, including those who are either unable or unwilling to drive. It's all about making our communities stronger.

hey! i've seen this in florence, italy! yeah, i think it's supposed to be something about your heart and a lover and returning... that sort of thing. maybe throwing a key in the river or something. anyway. cool. i think they're pretty nifty.....
