We went for a walk down by the river near our house this weekend. Does Chloe look like she's plotting something in this picture or what?
Awwwww....
Yay! Mike is SO excited about getting his picture taken.
We'll be moving out of our house in just 2 1/2 weeks - so sad! I'll miss our house. Too bad we can't bring it home with us. :) And this Friday we're going to the sumo tournament, so stay tuned for some crazy Japan!

Chloe's thinking: "Wait til you see my blog."
okay meika, i've been reading your blog for awhile and decided to come out with it and introduce myself....i don't know if you remember me from cts and heidi's wedding etc...but i rem you, although never getting to know you at all unfortunately...i went off to do doctoral work at princeton theological sem, but didn't finish (a story perhaps for later..) and still remain here in princeton for now with my husband - and am also pregnant (only 18 weeks, but with previous losses)..i started following your blog through heidi, but i think your having-a-baby-away-from-home resonanted with me, as does your wandering spirit, which in myself has provoked deep-dark questionings, and more than my fair share of pity-parties. I don't know what's happening next for me professionally, but the baby is coming for certain....
i'm going on and on, but just wanted to introduce myself from afar, and say that I have been cheered by your postings and have liked getting to know you a bit...
Very cute...both of you:) You do have a neat house, but you can't always live in the rich district. When you think of missing it, just think of doing laundry and recycling.
Hi Shelly! Yes, I remember you, definitely! It's good to hear from you, and congratulations on the coming attraction!
Nice to know that there are other wanderers out there... :)
And yeah, laundry and recycling are a pain... but my bathtub! and balconies! and fish broiler! and in-room heating/cooling units! Wahhhhhhh...! I suppose those things have something to do with the uppity neighborhood. :)
Chloe's future blog is getting better by the day, to be sure. The unchi tales are guaranteed not to fade quickly... who can blame her?
Oh, by the way, today she decided to add coffee to her mess-making repertoire. Got her hands on the (cooled) cup at Denny's and doused the two of us while the waiter busily pretended not to see. Bwahahahhaaaaaaaa... her revenge is at hand!
