Here we are at one of our favorite yakiniku restaurants Ganko Tei: Mike, Aunt Mary, Mom, Dad, and Uncle Gord. Yakiniku is a delicious Korean import that is pretty popular in Japan. You sit at a table with a hot grill in the center, then order your choice of meat and vegetables - everything from prime cuts of beef to pig esophagus. Then you grill it yourself in the middle of your table, finishing often by wrapping the grilled meat and veggies in a lettuce leaf and dipping in a variety of sauces. Yakiniku is something that I will definitely miss when we leave!

As delicious as it was, I don't recall any information about pig esophagus being imparted at the time. Maybe the beer clouded my recollection.
Hmmm, did we neglect to mention that? I was sure we'd told you... :)
