Tree Fort

Despite the sad reason for our trip, much fun was had by all. We had the chance to spend several days at Mike's ancestral home. :) In this picture, Mike and nephew Shaun are building a tree fort in the fencerow behind Mike's parents' house. Notice how gray things are in these early pictures! Spring had not yet sprung.

The Scarf

Abby is kindly displaying my very first knitting project ever (well, successful knitting project, anway, and we won't count fourth grade): a scarf for Kacey in Homer High's school colors. I can't believe I made that!

Keegan got a portable Japanese car set from Uncle Mike and Aunt (!) Meika. We think he liked it - but Aunt Meika might have liked it even more. They have such cool toys over here!!
