Oh yay! I'd been longing for some updates from you... Makes me want to take Samara on a camping trip... I'm guessing that she would be endlessly entertained by all there is to look at in the great outdoors... Hm... We need a bigger tent, I think. How did sleeping go for you guys?
Camping looked like so much fun. It gives me hope that we will be out in our tent soon. Maybe when we return from Vacation. It looks like Chloe is growing so fast. I cant wait to get my turn to hold her and play with her:) Happy belated Aniversary as well. Cant wait until you guys arrive home.
Thanks for the anniversary wishes! We had a nice anniversary - Mike arranged for us to go to a nice Balinese restaurant at LaChic department store. Chloe had her first cold, so she came with us, but we had a very nice time even though it wasn't just the two of us. :)
Heid, sleeping actually went really well for us, much better than we'd hoped (for Chloe, anyway - we forgot our pillows AGAIN). We put a few thick blankets underneath the Moses basket and bundled her up and she slept like the proverbial baby. For naptime we took the toys off her toy bar, put it over the Moses basket, and tossed a darkening shade (which usually backs the curtains in her room) over it. That's what I was most nervous about, but it worked great. And I think that we need a bigger tent, too, but we managed to squeeze pretty well this time around.
On top of being a wife and full-contact parent to three young children, I am an advocate for livable communities and alternative transportation. That means working for communities that work for every member of the community, including those who are either unable or unwilling to drive. It's all about making our communities stronger.
