The International Consortium for the Promotion of Dancing Swine has been working overtime ensuring that their clients are properly represented in all kinds of media, but most especially children's board books.
On the left, the Piggy Rockettes of Okinawa, featured in the Hiyo-chan and Tama-chan book entitled, "Guron Kurokuro Dare Kara?" On the right, their American brethren in Sandra Boynton's "Moo, Baa, La La La!"

Boynton is doing her best to support the Consortium. There's quite a few books with piggies in her oevre. we are particular fans of _Barnyard Dance_ over here. (Although, it has recently taken second place to Boynton's _Doggies_ because Zora is into delivering a very gutteral "whoo, whoo" as the sound for dogs.)
Sorry, wrong group here. We're all about Hippos over here. But have also found hippose featured in a number of works. Maybe they have the same publicist.
